QuickPayPortal Frequent Queries

Is the Portal secure?

A secure, encrypted connection is used to communicate between your office and your provider. Using industry-standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, your data is transmitted securely, and you can authenticate server-side with a digital certificate. The e-medical record system we use offers a firewall that prevents unauthorized access to medical information.

What happens if my password is stolen?

By completing one of the following options, you can change your password immediately:

  • Visit the AthenaHealth Profile page, sign in, and reset your password.
  • To reset your password, click Forgot your password on the sign-in page and enter your email address.
  • Request a password reset email from your provider’s office.

Where can I view my account balance?

Click on the Billing tab. Under Recent Charges Payable Online, you will find a list of the fees you owe, followed by details of your account balance.

Why do neither “View Detail” nor “View Receipt” do anything?

You will need Adobe Acrobat to view and print statements and forms on the Patient Portal. When you click on the Billing tab, you will see a message telling you this, along with a link to download the program free of charge.

How can I view my test results?

Your provider may make test results available at their discretion. For your test results to appear in your Patient Portal account, your provider must authorize their release. Patients will only be able to access test results deemed suitable for release through the Patient Portal.
